Our Services

To Book The Choir

If you are proposing to organise a charity fund-raising event, concert or other celebration, please contact the Concert Secretary, Simon Bilous, info@dursleymalechoir.org.uk or telephone him on 01453 545493 to discuss opportunities and arrangements.

We will work with you to ensure that your event is successful using the experience we have gained in producing our own concerts and those for other organisers.

The following are questions you might wish to consider in advance of contacting us:

  • What event do you have in mind and what venue do you hope to use?

  • Will the event be in support of a specific charity registered organisation?

  • Will the venue have a fully tuned, quality piano available and sound facilities such as a microphone system to address the audience?

  • How will you promote the event and how will tickets be sold?

  • What size of audience do you hope to attract?

  • Do you have guest soloists in mind to perform with the choir?

  • Have you determined the costs for the event?  

  • What ticket price do you have in mind?

  • Do you have sponsors that will wish to be involved?

 

Other things to consider:

  • For weddings and personal events we have an extensive repertoire that you can chose from, but we are unlikely to learn specific items for one performance.

  • If the performance is not in aid of charity we will ask for a minimum donation for our services.

  • Any perfomances need to be of a minimum content and duration to encourage sufficient choristers to turn out.
